What is a rock star?
To be a rock star, you’ve got to put yourself out there. You’ve got to be real. And you have to do it in a way that appeals to your audience.
Sound contradictory? It kinda is, the same way yin and yang “contradict” each other. Both being your true self and accommodating your audience are REQUIRED for top-notch communication to occur. Get those pieces in balance, and instead of contradicting each other, they complement and elevate each other.
Here’s the paradox: The better you are at accommodating the communication style of your listener, the more permission you have to accommodate yourself. It’s a give and take.
But how is all this accomplished? How do you “speak” to the needs of your audience? How do you convey your real self? As you might have picked up on by now if you’ve been cruising the website, you do it nonverbally. (Duh.)
We train people to communicate their real selves in a way that connects with their audience. That takes nonverbal intelligence.
Make nonverbal communication your forte, and voila! You are a rock star.
