The Language of Leadership
To be a leader, you need a vision AND the ability to communicate it in a way that draws others alongside.
Whether or not you’re in a position to lead, if you communicate leadership, you are a leader. A leader is anyone who’s going somewhere and has followers. You can lead from where you are.
On the flip side, just because you’re in a position of leadership doesn’t mean you’re leading. Look over your shoulder. Anyone following? Willingly?
Position or not: You’re not a leader if you can’t communicate your leadership.
Stop hiding. Stop coercing. Start leading. Become a rock star in your field.
